I have explored and written on “posthuman” ideas since the 1980's and have discussed many variants of the future. One debate concerns the “Trans-human” 500 year transition period claim versus my opinion that some of us in the developed world are already “Posthuman”- our skeletons are now a different shape from homo-sapiens of the C19th and C20th D-shaped not round. The ‘Industrial Revolution’ was the “transhuman” stage. Humanoids have been defeated by A.I. at Chess and Go so the perhaps the “singularity” has already arrived? Research includes conscious machines(MVT awareness techniques look strong contenders for mind uploading) and new psychological resources. Why wait for the rapture/ end times/ Kurzweil/ Omega Point when we already have essential the Primal Eye evolutionary knowledge? Be Posthuman NOW!
